The UPR Hospital is located approximately 10 minutes from the Luis Muņoz
International Airport and about 20 minutes from San Juan, the capital of Puerto
Rico. It is located in the city of
Carolina, a
major metropolitan area. There are numerous housing complex around the hospital
and major shopping center just next to the hospital.
Our hospital is a community hospital but it has its fair share of trauma cases per year.This patients are treated and stabilized in order fot them to be referred to the Puerto Rico Medical Center, our local trauma center, which is about 8 minutes away by ground ambulance.
